
1- Organize, coordinate, and guide research work related to Hong Kong and Macao throughout Xiamen.
2- Formulate relevant laws, regulations, drafts, and policy provisions related to Hong Kong and Macao affairs in Xiamen.
3- Coordinate and centralize the management of work contacts and business exchanges between Xiamen and the governments of Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
4- Approve and coordinate visits and receive officials from the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions in Xiamen.
5- Facilitate Xiamen's exchanges and cooperation in various fields, such as economy, technology, culture, education, and youth, with Hong Kong and Macao and collaborate on important civil exchanges with Hong Kong and Macao.
6- Cooperate in investigating and handling violations and irregularities.
7- Participate in publicity, news releases, and other related work concerning Hong Kong and Macao.
