Xiamen to open three new inbound duty-free shops

(en.fao.xm.gov.cn) Updated:2026-01-23

Forty-one new port-of-entry duty-free shops have been established nationwide, with Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, Xiamen Wutong Passenger Wharf, and Xiamen International Cruise Center included on the list.

Once passenger flight operations are transferred from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport to Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, the establishment of a port-of-entry duty-free shop at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport will be discontinued.

A port-of-entry duty-free shop is a store located within the restricted zones of open airports, water ports, or land ports, which sells duty-free goods to inbound passengers in accordance with relevant regulations.

The establishment and adjustment of port-of-entry duty-free shops aim to further facilitate duty-free shopping for inbound passengers.
