The Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration recently implemented regional visa-free entry policies.
According to the new policies, foreign tourist groups entering Xiamen from the Shanghai Cruise Port are exempt from visa requirements. Relevant businesses in Xiamen are currently preparing to receive inbound flights.
The specific visa-free policy is as follows: Foreign tourist groups consisting of two or more members that are organized and received by travel agencies registered within China, or enter the country as a whole from Shanghai Cruise Port can be exempted from visa procedures. The tourists must follow the same cruise itinerary as a group and exit the country.
The scope of activities is limited to coastal provinces and Beijing, that is, cities where cruise ports are located in Shanghai, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and Hainan, and their surrounding cities. The stay is 15 days.
