The 2022 Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival is scheduled to be held in Xiamen's Jimei district, which is located in East China's Fujian province, from Nov 25 to Jan 3, festival organizers announced at a news conference.
Thirty exhibitions are expected to be held during the event to showcase works by more than 100 artists from countries and regions including France, Thailand, Brazil, the United States and China.

During the event, organizers will also hold competitions and hand out prizes for talented photographers and photographic visionaries, aiming to encourage more creativity in the field of photography.
Since 2015, the photo festival has been held in conjunction with the Renctres d'Arles festival in France, and has attracted more than 400,000 attendees. The event also provides more opportunities for participants to make more connections in the photography industry.
During this year's event, a slew of activities including seminars, artistic bazaars, performances and workshops are also scheduled to be held.
