Application Documents |
First, foreign staff from consular institutions: 1. A diplomatic note provided by foreign consular institutions in Xiamen; 2. The first page of the applicant’s passport, visa issued by Chinese embassies or consulates in foreign countries as well as a copy; 3. Copy of the “identity card” of the applicant and his (or her) families; the identity cards are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Second, foreign residences for those who work for foreign non-governmental organizations in China, foreign-assisted Chinese projects and foreign employees who sign agreements with Chinese enterprises or institutions.
1. An official letter issued by foreign governmental departments, foreign institutions in China, or some relevant Chinese appropriate bodies, with information including the applicant’s identity, position, and how long does he/she plan to stay in China; 2. The first page of the applicant’s passport, official visa issued by Chinese embassies or consulates in foreign countries as well as the copy;
Third, foreigners come to China temporarily who hold diplomatic passports or official passports can apply for an extension of visa if necessary
1. An official letter or diplomatic note provided by relevant Chinese appropriate bodies, or foreign consulates in China, with information including the applicant’s identity, position, reasons for application and how long does he/she plan to stay in China; 2. The applicant’ s international travelling certificates, such as passport; diplomatic and official visas issued by Chinese embassies or consulates in foreign countries as well as their copies (temporary admission and Visa-exempt entry are excluded). |
