Division of Comprehensive Affairs & International Economy

1- Takes the lead in researching, drafting, and revising local policies and systems related to foreign affairs;

2- Oversees and conducts research on foreign affairs policies and related work;

3- Studies and formulates development plans for Xiamen's foreign affairs initiatives;

4- Drafts comprehensive materials such as important documents;

5- Responsible for external publicity work and jointly reviewing important international news reports related to Xiamen;

6- Releases foreign affairs news;

7- Coordinates and assists municipal external publicity department and public-oriented foreign affairs education;

8- Edits and publishes the promotional materials for XMFAO, as well as the maintenance of information dissemination platforms such as its website and new media channels;

9- Oversees the department's foreign-related economic work and provides policy proposals;

10- Assumes routine work of the foreign affairs committee office of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee.
