A delegation of international marine and environmental experts visited Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, on May 26 to learn about the coastal city's achievements in bay construction and wetland preservation.
The tour was part of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development 2026 Roundtable. The two-day conference, which opened in Xiamen on Monday, focused on the harmonious coexistence between humans and the ocean.
The experts visited Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park and toured the public recreational spaces surrounding Black Swan Lake, recognized as an outstanding example in the third batch of National Beautiful Bays in China.
