China's civil aviation will implement the 2026 summer-autumn flight schedule starting March 29. To meet the diverse travel needs of passengers, Xiamen Airlines and China Eastern Airlines plan to launch several new routes.

For the upcoming travel season, Xiamen Airlines will introduce several new domestic routes, including Xiamen–Nanchong, Changsha–Taiyuan, Fuzhou–Wuhan–Urumqi, and Qingdao–Changsha–Sanya, all of which will operate daily, along with the Fuzhou–Beihai route, which will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

On the international front, the airline will increase frequencies on key routes: the Xiamen–Amsterdam route will operate three times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, while the Xiamen–Manila route will be increased to twice daily.

Furthermore, Xiamen Airlines will launch several new Southeast Asian routes, namely Hangzhou–Ho Chi Minh City, Nanjing–Kuala Lumpur, Nanjing–Jakarta, and Wuhan–Jakarta, further strengthening air connectivity with ASEAN countries.

China Eastern Airlines will introduce a new non-stop service from Xiamen to Lanzhou for the upcoming season, with flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Frequency on the Xiamen–Wuxi route will be increased to three daily flights.

Furthermore, the airline will expand its deployment of the domestically manufactured C919 aircraft in Xiamen, raising service frequency to two daily flights on the Xiamen–Shanghai Hongqiao, Xiamen–Chengdu Tianfu, and Xiamen–Xi'an routes.
