
The opening ceremony of the 2025 China-BRICS Science and Innovation Incubation Park for New Era Cooperation and Exchange Event was recently held in Xiamen. Nearly 40 representatives from 25 sci-tech institutions across 11 BRICS countries gathered to witness the launch of the 2025 BRICS Cross-Border Innovation Accelerator Program.
The program is designed to empower innovative companies and talent teams, covering the entire value chain from market access and financing to implementation support.
The innovation accelerator program is a targeted initiative that helps innovators turn ideas into reality and access new markets fast, providing the tools, connections, and guidance to accelerate participating entities' growth in BRICS and global markets.
The program is now recruiting participants in the fields of biomedical and pharmaceutical industries, new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, new materials, as well as digital economy and future information technologies.
Applications are open from today until Feb 28, 2026. The offline accelerator program will take place in Xiamen in May 2026, spanning two weeks (10 working days). It will provide co-working spaces, travel subsidies, and support for industry visits.
