Fujian's first one-stop comprehensive international service center was officially launched in the International Arrival Hall of Terminal 3 at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport on July 8.
The center offers services in multiple areas, including customs clearance, payment, cultural tourism, telecommunications, and transportation, providing convenient and efficient entry support services for foreign passengers arriving in Xiamen.
Unlike the previous scattered service setups that required passengers to rush around the terminal to complete various procedures, the new service center is located in the middle of the International Arrival Hall of Terminal 3, covering approximately 48 square meters.
After exiting the international arrival immigration inspection area, foreign passengers can immediately spot the service counter on their right, where they can have all their initial entry needs addressed in one go.
The center currently has four core service modules designed to streamline the entry process for international travelers. The customs clearance counter, staffed by border inspection and customs officials, provides professional policy consultations, while the dedicated payment zone offers comprehensive financial services such as currency exchange and mobile payment activation.
To further enhance convenience, the facility includes a telecommunications counter for purchasing local SIM cards and data packages, alongside an integrated cultural tourism service area. This section combines practical travel information with transportation guidance, ensuring visitors can quickly access essential arrival services all in one location.
China on June 12 granted Indonesian citizens a visa-free transit stay of up to 10 days, expanding the number of countries eligible for the policy to 55.
China will adopt a visa-free entry policy for Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain.
