Coinciding with Xiamen's recognition as the "2024 Most Internationally Influential Inbound Tourism City", fifteen international travel influencers from 10 countries embarked on a special "Xiamen-Nanping Mountain-Sea" themed flight — China's first intercity inbound tourism initiative, from June 27 to 29.
This unique journey allowed them to experience the cultural charm of China's breathtaking landscapes.
The Xiamen Inbound Tourism Collaboration Themed Flight departed from Beijing for Xiamen on June 27. The flight not only featured exquisite cabin decorations but also offered passengers immersive experiences including Wuyi tea tasting and Xiamen-style cuisine. The high-altitude interactive Q&A session with cultural creative gifts added some extra excitement to the journey.
Upon arriving in Xiamen, the international travel influencers embarked on the first stop of their "240-hour dual-city inbound tour" — the enchanting night cruise on Lujiang River.
The following day, they explored Gulangyu Island, where they strolled through Shuzhuang Garden and the Piano Museum, then visited "Time Meets Island", China's first Minnan-themed fantasy attraction, to experience authentic Minnan (southern Fujian) culture.
Their journey continued at Xiamen Horticulture Expo Garden, where they enjoyed leisurely moments with black swans at a lakeside cafe.
Subsequently, the group ventured deeper into Northern Fujian's hidden gem — Nanping, embarking on a tea-tasting journey through the "Hometown of Chinese Tea".
China's 240-hour visa-free transit policy extends a warm invitation to global travelers: come experience the colorful nation and discover the breathtaking harmony of mountains and seas.
China on June 12 granted Indonesian citizens a visa-free transit stay of up to 10 days, expanding the number of countries eligible for the policy to 55.
China will adopt a visa-free entry policy for Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain.
