The matchmaking event is aimed at enhancing pragmatic BRICS cooperation and advancing the BRICS Partnership on the New Industrial Revolution.
Cui Yonghui, secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, said that the matchmaking event has selected a group of high-quality industrial projects covering key frontier areas such as digital manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, healthcare, and scientific research and innovation, which carry enormous market potential and offer broad space for cooperation.

The BRICS mechanism serves as a convenient platform for enterprise collaboration and information sharing, he said, adding that he looks forward to strengthening cooperation with other countries through this platform.
"We firmly believe that unity and cooperation among BRICS countries will bring renewed momentum to global economic growth."
