Xiamen FAO head meets Japanese executive
On March 28, Zhang Quan, director general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, held a meeting with Fujii Takahide, the new general manager of manufacturer Electric Glass (Xiamen) Co Ltd – a Japanese-funded company based in Xiamen.
Zhang presented an overview of Xiamen's economic and social development to the Japanese executive and encouraged the company to expand its local business and boost its global market share.
He said the Xiamen Municipal Foreign Affairs Office would continue to support the development of enterprises and help foreign nationals to enjoy a productive working life and a good personal and family life in Xiamen. Zhang also hoped the Japanese company would be successful in achieving greater development.
In response, Fujii Takahide praised the friendliness and welcoming nature of Xiamen's citizens, the government's pro-business initiatives and its efficient administrative services.
Moreover, he pledged to leverage the city's competitive advantages in its industry and supply chains to further bolster the company's growth and contribute to Xiamen's high-quality development.
