This year's "Greetings from Asia" section features a group show titled "Archipelago: Paradise Revisit", curated by Gwen Lee, highlighting artists from the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia.
At the "China Pulse" section, which spotlights photography education at the tertiary education level in China, audience members can view works by photography majors at the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, and learn about the academy's three-decade-long efforts in nurturing photography talents.
Visitors can also appreciate eminent Taiwanese artist and aesthete Cheng Tsun-shing's solo in the "Outer Regard" section, which features a group of color-film works he created in Europe in the 1970s.
China announced and implemented on May 15 a policy allowing visa-free entry of foreign tourist groups aboard cruise ships via all cruise ship ports along the country's coastline.
