A 7-person delegation from Uzbekistan media visited Xiamen from Oct 15 to 18 and gained a better understanding of the city's rural vitalization efforts and the results of Chinese-style modernization.
In Xiang'an, the delegation visited places such as the Aotou village historical museum.
The Xiang'an Aotou village has in recent years introduced seafood catering, cultural and creative industries, homestay businesses and a pitaya professional cooperative, all of which have boosted the local economy and improved the incomes of farmers.
The delegation praised Xiamen's concept of community governance and the development path it has taken in rural revitalization and rural construction.
In the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, the delegation learned about the innovative measures taken in the eight years since the FTZ's establishment to optimize the business environment and nurture industry clusters.
The delegation also visited Xiamen Meiya Pico to learn about their cutting-edge technology and training courses in the fields of network security and informatization. At King Long, the delegation viewed the company's latest products and technology, and even had the opportunity to ride in an autonomous vehicle.
The high-quality urban environment, successful practices in ecological governance, and achievements in economic and social development in Xiamen left a deep impression on the delegation.
The delegation said that they believe there will be more opportunities for exchanges and cooperation with Xiamen, and expressed hope that more high-quality Chinese products will enter Uzbekistan.
