The 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade is scheduled to run from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province. Since 2018, the fair has continued to cultivate internationalization, creating a new important platform for high-level openness to the world.
The fair has also strengthened the city's development, injecting new momentum into Xiamen's outward-oriented economy. Xiamen will embrace the world, sharing the opportunities brought from CIFIT.
This year, Xiamen, together with the Ministry of Commerce, will host major events such as the "Investment in China" keynote forum and a roundtable meeting for foreign-funded enterprises to attract foreign businesses to Xiamen.
Additionally, the Gulangyu Forum co-hosted by Xiamen and the Ministry of Commerce, will feature 98 renowned guests and provide a platform for promoting international investment and global development through exchanges and collaborations.
According to the CIFIT organizing committee, nearly 100 countries and regions, about 1,000 business delegations, and approximately 80,000 traders will gather in Xiamen during this year's CIFIT.
The activities of the "Investment in China" series have already attracted more than 160 foreign-funded enterprises, including nearly 50 Fortune Global 500 companies, to register for the exhibition and conference.
