The 2022 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, one of the top events in China's film industry, will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province from Nov 10 to 12, local media reported on Nov 2.
The festival includes an opening ceremony, the 35th China Golden Rooster Awards, film exhibitions, academic forums, project promotions and other activities.
A launch ceremony will be held during the festival for a new landmark that was created on the viewing platform of Yanwu Bridge in Xiamen. The landmark is designed to highlight the China's outstanding filmmakers and expand the influence of the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.
The festival's poster and the lists of nominees for categories that include best film, best director, best actor, and best actress were officially released on Nov 1.
