
In view of the latest epidemic situation in Xiamen, the city's science and technology bureau announced on Aug 14 that the city's exit and entry service hall and service stations for foreign professionals would suspend the on-site examination and approval of foreigner work permits starting Aug 15 to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19.
The announcement said that for the moment, relevant issues can be handled online or through express delivery services, and the resumption time of the on-site services will be updated later based on situation of the epidemic.
