Please follow the requirements of the Xiamen Municipal Headquarters for COVID-19 Response – spend the holiday in Xiamen and do not leave the city if not necessary. Notifications No. 9 and No. 10 released by the headquarters for COVID-19 Response should be strictly followed.
Do not hold large-scale gatherings and activities during the National Day holiday. All catering units shall suspend open dining. All parks, tourist attractions, the Mountain-to-Sea Trail, religious and folk customs sites, indoors or outdoors stadiums (venues), entertainment and recreation facilities and others shall suspend operations.
Shopping malls, supermarkets, hospitals and other public places shall strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures and regularly conduct cleaning and disinfections according to standard operating procedures.
China has decided to extend its visa waiver policy to ordinary passport holders from Canada and the United Kingdom starting from Feb 17.
Forty-one new port-of-entry duty-free shops have been established nationwide, with Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, Xiamen Wutong Passenger Wharf, and Xiamen International Cruise Center included on the list.
