The Former Site of the Xiamen Federation of Trade Unions is located at No 68 Tudui Lane, Datong Road, Lujiang sub-district, Siming district, Xiamen, East China's Fujian province.
厦门总工会旧址位于厦门市思明区鹭江街道大同路土堆巷68号。
Walking to No 185 Datong Road, you can see a small lane about two meters wide known as Tudui Lane. About 20 meters from the lane's entrance stands a three-story red-brick building, which was the command post of the workers' movement in Xiamen.
走到大同路185号，旁边有一条两米多宽的小巷，巷口钉了一块写有“土堆巷”的路牌。往小巷里走一二十米，一座特征非常明显的三层红砖大楼展现在眼前。这就是著名的土堆巷68号红楼，曾是厦门工人运动的指挥部。
On Jan 24, 1927, crowds of workers in smart dress came to the lane to celebrate the establishment of a federation to speak for them.
1927年1月24日，从大同路通往土堆巷红楼的路上，人潮涌动，川流不息。一批批工人穿着节日盛装，喜气洋洋地前来祝贺自己组织的诞生。
A founding ceremony for the Xiamen Federation of Trade Unions was held in the building that evening, with the federation convention being passed and more than 30 members being elected.
Since then, the working class in Xiamen has been well-organized and became a strong revolutionary force under the leadership of the Xiamen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.
总工会成立大会当晚就在这幢红楼里举行。大会通过了总工会章程，选出30多名总工会委员。厦门总工会的成立，标志着在中共厦门市委的领导下，厦门的工人阶级已经广泛地组织起来，成为一支强大的革命力量。
