Foreigners can now get their exit-entry documents mailed to them from the local bureau of exit and entry administration in Xiamen, eastern Fujian province, Xiamen Daily reported on August 1.
Foreigners can apply for the new postal service after handling all the necessary exit-entry procedures.
All they need to do is to show their payment invoices and fill out a letter of authorization and express waybill in Chinese.
It should be noted that the visa receipt for foreigners will be taken back when they sign for the documents.
The postal service is only available in Fujian province. Twenty-one yuan ($3.05) per document will be charged if mailing within Xiamen, while 29 yuan per document will be charged if mailing to other cities in Fujian.
Foreigners may receive the mailed documents one to two days after the Xiamen branch of China Post receives them.
