Exhibitors from 47 countries and regions attended the 15th Strait Travel Fair, which was held in Xiamen, Fujian province from April 19 to 21.
The exhibitors showcased their special traveling routes, creative cultural products and local cuisines at the event.
In addition, the governments of Iran, Poland, Finland, North Korea, the Czech Republic and Nepal also sent delegations to the fair.
At the 2019 edition, the number of booths for Taiwan exhibitors increased by 40 to 150 in order to highlight the integrated development between Taiwan and the Chinese mainland.
With an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters of 2,600 booths, the fair attracted more than 200,000 visitors this year.
The Strait Travel Fair was organized by the then China National Tourism Administration in collaboration with the Fujian Provincial People's Government in a bid to advance common development between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan in the tourism industry.
