A delegation of 55 young officers, university students and journalists from the Philippines and Fujian province visited the province's second-largest city, Xiamen, from Oct 24 to 26.
The first Philippines-China (Fujian) Youth Friendly Exchange Program was launched by Fujian's Foreign Affairs Office, China's consulate general in Cebu and Davao, and the Friends of the Philippines Foundation Oct 19.
Members of the program will tour six cities in the two country over two weeks: the Philippines' Manila, Cebu and Davao and China's Fuzhou, Xiamen and Quanzhou.
They will visit renowned universities and local governmental agencies to learn about the history, culture and traditions of the cities to strengthen mutual understanding.
China has launched a new pilot program to allow eligible enterprises greater access to overseas financing in support of green and low-carbon transformation projects, the country's foreign exchange regulator said on Aug 21.
To further streamline the experience, China is expanding tax refund stores, broadening the range of refundable goods, and refining refund procedures, ensuring an efficient and seamless shopping experience for global visitors.
