
Foreign journalists who come to Xiamen for a short-term interview can apply for a journalist visa at the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Xiamen Municipal Government or China’s embassies or consulates in foreign countries.
The required information on the application include: the name of the inviter, time, interview theme, the applicant’s news agency and his/her self-introduction, copies of passport and press card. Photojournalists also need to fill the details of their photographic equipment, such as the brand, specification and model as well as the price.
