A Hong Kong delegation attended the 2018 China International Internet of Things (IoT) Expo held in Xiamen, Fujian province on July 6 to further promote cooperation and exchanges in IoT between the two cities.
Lin Na, deputy inspector of Xiamen's Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, met with the delegation led by director of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's government office in South China's Guangdong province.
Both sides worked on the details of a photo exhibition hosted by Hong Kong in Xiamen to mark the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up and also the visit of senior Hong Kong officials in the following six months.
China's latest departure tax refund measures will allow overseas visitors to obtain instant refunds across more regions and give them up to 28 days to leave the country, making multi-city trips easier and encouraging longer stays and greater spending.
Uruguay will grant visa-free entry to Chinese citizens.
