A graduate of the Piano Academy at Gulangyu Island recently won the first prize and gained most viewer votes at the International Piano Competition "A. Scriabin 2018", Xiamen Daily reported on March 9.
In addition to a prize of €6,500 and a certificate of award, Yin Mocun also signed two contracts for 10 European performances and three performances with world renowned symphony orchestras.
In 2014 Yin graduated from the Piano Academy at Gulangyu Island and was admitted into Germany's Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media.
The competition attracted more than 60 participants from over 10 countries, including Russia, Austria, Germany and Poland.
