The First Cherry Blossoms Festival was launched at Xiamen Garden Show Park on March 8 and will run through April 7.
During the one-month festival, visitors can admire the fully bloomed Guangzhou cherry blossoms, one of the representatives Chinese types of cherry blossoms.
As time goes on, various other kinds of cherry blossoms will bloom one after the other, such as Yoshino cherry and bellflower cherry.
In addition, two performances will be staged every day during the festival, including street dances, playing of saxophones, magic performances, and songs.
While they are admiring the natural attractions visitors can also enjoy delicious food, such as thirty-centimeter long french fries, sweet marshmallows, small fried dough sticks, and crispy fried milk custard, as well as cuisines from Southeast Asian countries.
