A grand lights display will be specially created at the Guanyin Hill in Xiamen, Fujian province to welcome the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dog.
The light show, designed by China's best light artists, will open on Feb 2 and last through Mar 11. Under the theme of "Finding the Elements of Spring Festival", the event will feature dazzling lights display covering various themes such as Spring festival, Chinese zodiacs and four seasons.
Light artists will take advantage of 3D technology to create balloons featuring marine animals or cartoon characters. Visitors can also enjoy amazing cultural performances of face changing, acrobatics, magic and fire breathing.
