"Our Chinese language and culture education will continue to get better with time. We will overcome difficulties and hardships to inherit Chinese language and culture and contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation," said He Wenjin, a 75-year-old Chinese Indonesian who has greatly contributed to the Chinese language and culture education abroad.
The tour in Xiamen left a deep impression on the representatives. They shared their experience of Chinese language and culture education and pledged to give their best effort in promoting Chinese language and culture education.
The visit was one of the activities of the fourth World Chinese Language and Culture Education Conference, which opened in Beijing on Dec 19.
Sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and China Overseas Exchange Association, the conference attracted approximately 600 representatives in Chinese language and culture education sectors from 55 nations and regions.
At the opening ceremony, 1,599 overseas Chinese language and culture teachers and 140 enthusiasts in the sectors received honors from the State Council.

China has launched a new pilot program to allow eligible enterprises greater access to overseas financing in support of green and low-carbon transformation projects, the country's foreign exchange regulator said on Aug 21.
To further streamline the experience, China is expanding tax refund stores, broadening the range of refundable goods, and refining refund procedures, ensuring an efficient and seamless shopping experience for global visitors.
