The 2017 Cross-Straits Industrial Design Awards, dubbed the "Oscars of the industrial design sector", wrapped up in Xiamen, Fujian province on Oct 22.
Among the 550 entries submitted by designers from all over the world, eight works won the gold award for design and two for concept.
The two-day event also helped ten outstanding deigns connect with potential investors, which will hopefully make them available on the market in the future.
All the activities were open to the public for free.
