A team of young soccer plays under the age of 17 from Xiamen, Fujian province visited ROK's Busan Metropolitan City on Sept 10-14 to take part in youth soccer exchange activities.
During the visit, Xiamen players took part in two tournaments and conduct exchanges with the ROK counterparts.
A symposium was also held to discuss the development of both sides' youth soccer and share replicable experience in the popularization of youth soccer.
Xiamen has attached great importance to the exchange and cooperation in soccer with ROK. In March, Xiamen authorities signed an exchange and cooperation agreement with ROK's Busan Metropolitan City.
The agreement outlines the establishment of a mechanism for regular exchanges of visits between the two cities. In 2018, Busan Metropolitan City will send young soccer players to visit Xiamen.
