Visitors to Xiamen can get a glimpse of the coastal city's rich cultural heritage after they used historical cultural elements to decorate two of its terminals on Aug 18.
By wandering around the airport passengers can get insights into the city's natural beauty, architectural art, traditional handicrafts, social customs, dialect and specialties.
The activity has been planned to coincide with the 9th BRICS Summit, a high-level forum for leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, which will be held in Xiamen from Sept 3 to 5.
