Xiamen's famous art museum C.Z Collection organized an art exhibition featuring traditional art forms from July 29 to 31 to welcome the forthcoming 9th BRICS Summit.
The event is among a series of highlights to usher in the Summit to be held in Xiamen, Fujian province from Sept 3 to 5.
Masterpieces from nine top Chinese calligraphers were on show, as well as paintings that depict charming sceneries in Xiamen.

Wang Yuan, vice president of Xiamen calligraphers association, expressed his gratitude to be connected to the summit through art. Wang also promised that he and other local calligraphers will try and present more art works for local residents in the future.

China has decided to extend its visa waiver policy to ordinary passport holders from Canada and the United Kingdom starting from Feb 17.
Forty-one new port-of-entry duty-free shops have been established nationwide, with Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, Xiamen Wutong Passenger Wharf, and Xiamen International Cruise Center included on the list.
