At the invitation of the Chinese embassy in Vietnam, a Vietnamese delegation of 10 people visited Fujian province on June 19-23.
Led by Le Minh Thang, deputy chief of state protocol for Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation visited the eastern Chinese province to learn of the experience and practice Fujian has implemented to streamline customs clearance procedures.
The delegation was also briefed on the economic and social development of the province, and its efforts to build itself into a core zone along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The delegation paid a visit to Xiamen, capital of Fujian, on June 22-23. After visiting Xiamen Software Park and Gulangyu Island, the delegation spoke highly of the park and the cultural heritage preservation of the island.

To further streamline the experience, China is expanding tax refund stores, broadening the range of refundable goods, and refining refund procedures, ensuring an efficient and seamless shopping experience for global visitors.
