Taiwan compatriots with electronic travel passes can use self-service machines
at selected railway stations in the Chinese mainland, China Railway Corporation
said Tuesday.
This service has begun at railway stations with large
volumes of Taiwan compatriots in Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai municipalities as
well as provinces of Guangdong, Hunan and Fujian, the corporation said in a
statement.
More such measures will make stations friendlier for Taiwan
compatriots, it added.
The Chinese mainland began issuing electronic
travel passes to Taiwan visitors starting September 2015 to replace paper
versions.
