Xiamen Bonded Logistics Park in Xiangyu district of Xiamen city was named a national demonstration site for the logistics industry along with 28 other parks on July 8.
It was the first time for the central government to distribute the honorary titles. And the Xiamen Bonded Logistics Park was the only place in Fujian province to be given the title.
The park is part of the Xiamen free trade zone which was unveiled in April 2015. It has since grown into a major international logistics center in southeast China.
The park provides logistics services to clothes and food producers, and mining, chemical engineering, electronics and health care industries.
The park has established a sound relationship with manufacturing, trade and finance industries and has stimulated the development of service industries related to logistics.
The park built an information platform that links to the city's port authorities directly and streamlined the administrative procedures anywhere possible.
China has launched a new pilot program to allow eligible enterprises greater access to overseas financing in support of green and low-carbon transformation projects, the country's foreign exchange regulator said on Aug 21.
To further streamline the experience, China is expanding tax refund stores, broadening the range of refundable goods, and refining refund procedures, ensuring an efficient and seamless shopping experience for global visitors.
