The China International Fair for Investment & Trade will include the Xiamen International Fruit and Vegetable Industry and Urban Agriculture Exhibition at its 2016 session in September.
Interested in promoting green technology and a healthy lifestyle, the exhibition sees the CIFIT as a springboard to access the global economy and garner media attention. It plans to improve its service level and make more efforts to help exhibitors find suitable business partners.
As the first one of its kind in Fujian province, the exhibition attracted more than 300 companies and 1,568 visitors in its 2015 session, which was held under the title International Fruit & Vegetable (Xiamen) Fair.
The 2015 exhibition showcased advanced technologies used in the fruit and vegetable industrial chain, which received a great deal of attention from the industry and resulted in serious economic benefits. It also stimulated globalization in the agriculture industry in the city of Xiamen and indeed throughout all of Fujian province.
This year the exhibition will have a 10,000-square-meter area at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center and will showcase urban agriculture, including leisure agriculture and high-tech farms.
China has launched a new pilot program to allow eligible enterprises greater access to overseas financing in support of green and low-carbon transformation projects, the country's foreign exchange regulator said on Aug 21.
To further streamline the experience, China is expanding tax refund stores, broadening the range of refundable goods, and refining refund procedures, ensuring an efficient and seamless shopping experience for global visitors.
