A direct international flight linking Xiamen with Melbourne will be launched on June 30th, according to xmnn.cn. The flight will be served with a Boeing 787-8.
The flight will leave Xiamen at 10:15 p.m. every Thursday and Sunday, and depart from Melbourne at 12:05 pm every Monday and Friday.
It is one of three international flights that are scheduled to be launched this year. The other two international flight destinations to be launched this year are Vancouver and Seattle.
Currently, Xiamen has direct flights to Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Siem Reap, Seoul, Jeju Island, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Hanoi, Nice, Sydney, and Cebu.
The Xiamen-Cebu direct flight was launched by Xiamen Airlines on March 27th this year, and will be available till October 29th. The flight departs from Xiamen at 9 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, and arrives in Cebu at 11:55.
