This year's International Collection Investment Fair (ICIF) will be held in tandem with CIFIT at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, Fujian province, from September 8 to 11.
Top art institutions and elite artists from across the world will be invited to put up exhibitions at the 2016 ICIF. Auction sessions will feature as part of the event, with international business leaders and political dignitaries attending the 2016 CIFIT expected to be among the buyers.
The ICIF will include forums to address art topics and explore the subjects such as fine art investment, and Internet and financing for art.
Art trade has been on the rise in Xiamen in recent years. The ICIF is seen by the city's art circles as a great opportunity to attract buyers and investors. Marketplaces for antiques and art museums in Xiamen have scheduled to hold various art activities and exhibitions during the ICIF.
