Xiamen school in sistership tie with Australian school

(chinadaily.com.cn) Updated:2016-05-27

Xiamen Experimental Primary School and the Australian School of Contemporary Chinese (ASCC) established a sistership tie on May 23.

The cooperation is intended to broaden the horizon of teachers and students and popularize Chinese culture through rich exchange activities.

The ASCC, registered in 2003, is a non-profit language school providing Chinese language courses in Canberra.

It is authorized by China's Confucius Institute Headquarters to be the only school in Australia to serve as the test center of HSK, the Chinese Proficiency Test.

The ASCC established a sistership tie with Qiantang Primary School in Fuzhou this March.

Xiamen Experimental Primary School has been establishing partnerships with Taiwan’s primary schools and sistership ties with schools in Singapore and Hong Kong since 2006.
