The Cross-Straits College Beach Volleyball Game was held in Xiamen on Aug 7, attracting 29 volleyball teams from 8 universities in the Chinese mainland and 8 from Taiwan, Fujian Daily reported.
“It is our first time to play beach volleyball here in the Chinese mainland, feels amazing! The scenery is beautiful and we’re glad to have this chance to improve each other,” Qiu Jinzhi, a coach from National Changhua University of Education says.
China has decided to extend its visa waiver policy to ordinary passport holders from Canada and the United Kingdom starting from Feb 17.
Forty-one new port-of-entry duty-free shops have been established nationwide, with Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, Xiamen Wutong Passenger Wharf, and Xiamen International Cruise Center included on the list.
