Dialogue event held in Xiamen
The event of "China in Dialogue with the World: Storytelling Salon in Xiamen" was held in Xiamen, Southeast China's Fujian Province, from November 25th to 27th.
The dialogue is an international brand event under China International Communications Group (CICG) and co-sponsored by the CICG Center for Europe and Africa (China Today magazine) and the Foreign Affairs Office of Xiamen Municipal People's Government. Four sessions have been held since its launch in 2021.
In his address, Li Yuehui, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China Xiamen Municipal Committee, described Xiamen as a forerunner in building an ecological civilization, an epitome of harmony between humanity and nature, and an exemplar of a mutual promotion of socioeconomic progress and ecological development.
Li emphasized that Xiamen is a prime example of green and sustainable development, offering valuable case studies for China's dialogue with the world. He called for upholding the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and jointly promoting green, low-carbon and sustainable development.
