Narva, a northeastern city in Estonia, is located on the left bank of the Narva River and 14 kilometers away from the estuary of the Baltic Sea.
Its major industries include electricity, home textile, machinery manufacturing, building materials, wood processing and food processing.
The city is home to many historical sites from the 13th to 17th century, as well as historical museums.
Narva and Tong'an district in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, signed an agreement to establish friendly exchange ties on Oct 20, 2015.
