The Xiamen Special Economic Zone Memorial Hall, the first of its kind in China, is located at No 23 Xinglong Road, Huli district, Xiamen, East China's Fujian province.
It was built in 2008 to celebrate the 30 anniversary of the country’s reform and opening up, as well as the 27th anniversary of the construction of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone.
厦门经济特区纪念馆位于湖里区兴隆路23号，是为纪念改革开放30周年和厦门经济特区建设27周年而设立的，是全国第一座经济特区纪念馆。
The hall was transformed from the former administrative office building of the special zone and covers an area of 5,000 square meters.
The four-story building houses two exhibitions which feature the history of the zone's development and photos depicting the 40 years of reform and opening up.
厦门经济特区纪念馆位于当年邓小平同志视察并题词的特区发源地——湖里，由原厦门经济特区管委会综合办公楼（后为湖里区政府大楼）改建而成。厦门经济特区纪念馆占地面积5000平方米，共有四层，设有“辉煌岁月——厦门经济特区建设历史陈列”和“厦门勇立潮头奋进新时代——庆祝改革开放四十周年专题图片展”两个基本陈列。
