The Xiamen Haidi Memorial Hall (haidi means "sea wall" in Chinese) is located in the Haidi Memorial Park at the intersection of Binhai Road and the Gaoji Sea Wall in Huli district, Xiamen, East China's Fujian province.
厦门海堤纪念馆位于厦门市湖里区高集海堤与滨海路交界处，海堤纪念公园内。
The park was built in tribute to the builders of the sea wall. The central square is paved with 1,953 slab stones and consists of six steps and 17 sets of lines, symbolizing June 17, 1953, the date the sea wall was established.
海堤纪念公园的设立是为了纪念海堤建设者们艰苦奋战、移山填海的“海堤精神”。中心广场由1953块石块铺成，并设计有6级台阶、17组射线，寓意“1953年6月17日”这一厦门海堤建设的时间。

As a key part of the park, the memorial hall covers an area of more than 400 square meters and displays the history of the sea wall in five sections through pictures, documents, historical items, models, sculptures, and multimedia.
作为海堤纪念公园的核心部分，海堤建设纪念馆占地约400多平方米，主要分五部分介绍厦门海堤的历史，采用图片文字、实物道具、模型、雕塑、多媒体等形式，其中珍贵实物有45件，展现移山填海的伟大壮举。
The hall was built in the shape of sea waves and its external wall is decorated with a gorgeous embossment depicting the construction process of the sea wall.
纪念馆的建筑外形以“海浪”为灵感来源，利用海堤条石做外墙，外墙上的大型浮雕生动再现了海堤人“竹笼抛石”的历史场景。
