Application documents | 1、Hong Kong and Macao students (1) Valid Hong Kong and Macao Pass and identity card of the applicant as well as copies of them; (2) Registration Form for Overseas Student’s Boarding in Xiamen issued by Xiamen public security department, as well as copies; (3) The certificate that shows the kinship relationship between the student and the guardian and the copy. (If the guardian is the immediate family member, the certificate of birth is accessible; if not, the guardian shall provide the power of attorney). (4) Identity card and copy of the guardian (if the guardian is not Xiamen’s permanent residence, he or she shall submit the certificate of temporary residence permit)
2、 Overseas Chinese students (1) Student’s valid passport of the People’s Republic of China and the copy; (2) Registration Form for Overseas Student’ s Boarding in Xiamen issued by Xiamen public security department, as well as the copy; (3) Student’s certificate for long-term, permanent or more than successive five years’ (including five years) residence permit in foreign countries (the certificate shall be authenticated by the Chinese embassies or consulates in foreign countries); (4) Students who have received the long-term or permanent residence permit in foreign country shall provide relevant certificate to prove that he or she has stayed in the country for more than 18 months within two years; If the student did not receive the long-term or permanent residence permit in foreign country, he or she shall submit relevant certificate to prove that he or she has stayed in the country for more than 30 months within five years (the exit-entry record can be issued in Xiamen Exit-Entry Administration Bureau). (5) A certificate that shows the kinship relationship between the student and the guardian and the copy (If the guardian is the immediate family member, the certificate of birth is accessible; if not, the guardian shall provide the power of attorney). (6) Identity card and copy of the guardian (if the guardian is not Xiamen’s permanent residence, he or she shall submit the certificate of temporary residence permit) 3、Foreign students For children of foreigners invest or work in Xiamen (1) A valid copy of the business license from the father’s (or mother’s) company, along with the company’s official seal, and the employment certificate of the father (or mother) issued by the company. If the parents are foreigners, they should also provide the Foreign Expert Certificate and the Employment Permit. (2) The student’s father’s (or mother’s) passport or identity card; (3) The student’s passport and “Residence Permit for Foreigners in the People’s Republic of China” (this kind of residence permit is the kind of visa found in the passport; it can be issued in the Exit-Entry Administration Division of Xiamen Public Security Bureau) (4) The student’s birth certificate (the overseas birth certificate shall be authenticated by Chinese Embassy or Consulate in foreign countries); (5) Letter of Expense Guarantee signed by the student’s father (or mother).
For students whose father or mother have received a Xiamen identity card (1) The student’s passport and “Residence Permit for Foreigners in the People’s Republic of China” (this kind of residence permit is the kind of visa found in the passport; it can be issued in the Exit-Entry Administration Division of Xiamen Public Security Bureau); (2) The student’s father’s (or mother’s) identity card in Xiamen; (3) The student’s birth certificate (the overseas birth certificate shall be authenticated by Chinese Embassy or Consulate in foreign countries); (4) Letter of Expense Guarantee signed by the student’s father or mother. All of the aforementioned application documents shall be prepared for examination and the copies shall be submitted for file. |

Notes: Junior students can apply for Senior High School Entrance Examination in February and March every year. The enrollment of primary school is in June, July and August every year. |
