The Foreign Affairs Office of Xiamen Municipal People's Government (XMFAO) is a local authority for handling foreign related affairs in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province.
It mainly focuses on implementing national policies, laws, and regulations on foreign affairs, as well as instructions and decisions of provincial and municipal governments on the aforementioned affairs. It also focuses on drafting and carrying out local foreign affairs-related regulations, development plans, and annual plans, as well as guiding the foreign affairs works of all districts, departments, and institutes in Xiamen.
